Preceded in death by: Wife, Ruth Ann Borden Russell; Parents, Fred & Grace Russell; Brother, Robert Russell; Sisters, Virgie Russell and Dorothy Smith. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Wesley & Beth Russell of Friendsville; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Tammy & Lee Slagle of Maryville and LeeAnn & Eric Garcia of Friendsville; Grandchildren, Seth, Ashley, Justin, Ashley, Celino, and Andres; Brother & Sister-in-law, Raymond & Cindy Russell of Maryville; Sister & Brother-in-law, Charlotte & Austin Shoffner of Maryville; Brother & Sister-in-law, Willie Smith, Elouise Russell, Hubert & Sue Borden, Ronald (Con) Borden, Mike & Pat Dolinger Nellie & the late Frank Borden; Special friend, Charlotte Baker; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Monday, January 26, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Hepperly officiating.
