Leslie Nicholas Alker

Leslie Nicholas Alker, 91, of Walland, TN peacefully passed away at home on March 19, 2023. He was predeceased by his wife, Becky Alker who died on January 3, 2022.  Leslie was born in Budapest, Hungary to Dr. and Mrs. George Alker. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Dr. George Alker. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Leslie, a practicing child psychologist, retired from Florida in 2003. Surviving are his five daughters, Kathy Lovelace (Lee), Klari Lea (Bill), Desiree Faust, Sonja Olive (Dan) and Lindy Librado (Tito). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A Catholic Mass of remembrance will be held on April 22, 2023 at 1:00 in the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home in Maryville, followed by a graveside service at Grandview Cemetery immediately after.  Refreshments will be presented in the Event Room behind the funeral home after the burial service.
