Leo A. Boring

Leo A. Boring age 78 of Maryville died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and a past member of the Lions Club. He was a former coach and president of Eagleton Little League. He retired from Alcoa after 42 years as plant photographer. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Verna Boring and his brother, Clayton Boring. Survivors include wife, Faye Boring; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Penny Boring of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Richard Braden of Maryville; grandchildren, Allen Braden, Jill Smiley, and Jeremy Hicks; great grandchildren, Jacob and Nicklaus Smiley; brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Marie Boring of Maryville; sister-in-law, Mary Boring of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. David Webster officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Broadway Baptist Church Building Fund, 2329 E. Broadway Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Grandview Cemetery.
