Lena "Merle" Kenny Miller

Lena “Merle” Kenney Miller age 100 of Knoxville passed away Saturday May 12, 2018 at NHC Holston. In the 1960’s she was a member of Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrolton, Ga. where she was the club golf champion on three different occasions. She was a past member of Pasadena Yacht and Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Fl. and also a more recent past member of Holston Hills Country Club. She taught kindergarten for 20 years in Bremen, Ga. and attended East Minister Presbyterian of Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband Carlton Miller, parents J.W. and Flossie Kenney, brother Joseph Gene Kenney. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Melvin and Linda Miller, daughter and son-in-law Ann and Larry Gerrard, grandchildren Nick Miller, Patrick Miller, Ken and wife Laura Gerrard, Laurie and husband Dave Harrell, Karen and Time Poore, great children Kelcey, Samantha, and Colten Miller, Max, Lance, and Bradshaw Miller, Miller, Hayes, and Cam Gerrard, Ellis and Parker Perry, Sydney and Carson Poore.
