Lee Mitchell Dickey

Lee M. Dickey age 31 of Maryville, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He served in the US Navy. He attended Six Mile Baptist Church. He was employed by Blount Excavating and was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father & friend who will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gib & Mary Coleman, Steward Dickey & Doris Dickey Cruze; aunt, Vicki Coleman Mitchell. Survivors include his loving wife, Christy Dickey; sons, Ethan Harvey & Reece Dickey; parents, Steward & Vivian Dickey of Knoxville; brother-in-law Daniel & Kellie Walker of Maryville; father-in-law, Jimmy & Karen Walker of Maryville; mother-in-law, Terri & Chris Finger of Maryville; sister & brother-in-law, Karen & Michael Hampton of Chattanooga; grandparents-in-law, Tom & Maxine Abbott of Maryville; niece, Kaylie Hampton; special friends, Aaron Haynes, Brandy Stinnett, Wesley Extine, Marty & Bradley Ladner and Special pet, Zeus; many cousins & friends also survive. Funeral service 7:30 pm Monday, August 31, 2009, Smith West Chapel with Rev. Charles Murrell officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Woodlawn Cemetery for the interment.
