L.E. Lester age 60 of Maryville passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the family home. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Sutherlin, VA. Preceded in death by: Father, Arthur J. Lester; Son, Matthew D. Lester; Brother, Charlie N. Lester; Sisters, Mattie L. Keys & Ivan, & Dorothy L. Dix & Ervin; Father-in-law, James R. Pell. Survivors include: Mother, Aileen Lester of Sevierville; Wife, Donna Lester; Son, Paul Lester & wife Tabatha; Grandchildren, Dakota Crowder, Gavin & Rylee Lester all of Maryville; Mother-in-law, Mary Pell; Brother, Billy Lester & Ronda of Danville, VA; Sisters, Annette Crosby of Sutherlin, VA, Linda Kay Tadlock & Jim of Louisville, TN, and Gail Pell of Maryville; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Ace & Denise Honey of Maryland; Arnold & Marlene Honey of Texas; James Pell of Ohio, Jerry Pell & Iva of Maryville, David Pell of Greenback; Sue & Bill Bryant of Palmer, TN, Carolyn & Tony Rogers of Oklahoma, and Joyce & Bill Burger of Maryville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Smith Chapel with Rev. Tommy Boring and Rev. Roger Best officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 15, 2012 at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be given to New Providence Primitive Baptist Youth Group.
