Larry Rhea age 59 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Physician’s Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Louisville and was the manager of Pilot Store on Magnolia in Knoxville for 27 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Leona Rhea, his brother, Paul Rhea, and step-son, Nolan Woodall. Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Deborah Duggan Rhea; sons, Joshua, Benjamin, Paul, and Shaun Rhea; step daughters, Paige Woodall and Linda Vaughn; grandchildren, Chloe and Robert; step mother, Patricia Rhea; brother, Barry Rhea; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Dwight Gladden; nieces, Stephanie Gladden, Rebecca Conn and Husband, Jason; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dwain and Louise Duggan; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kim and Gary Curtis and their children, Meagan, Jennifer, and Chris. The family would like to say a special thank you to Beech Grove Baptist Church and their small group for all of their love and support. Larry was a blessing from God, a wonderful husband, father, brother, and son that will be deeply missed until we are reunited in Heaven. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
