Larry Edwin Renfro

Larry Edwin Renfro, age 81, passed away to his Heavenly Home on March 14, 2019. Larry was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and he enjoyed the fellowship of his pastor and church family. He leaves behind many countless friends through his association and passion for golf, his 52 years of officiating football, 36 year employment with ALCOA, 30 year-service on Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee of Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union, and his many Everett High School class reunions. Preceded in death by parents, John and Ethel Renfro, brothers, Shirley and Marvin Renfro; sisters, Alice Hicks, Libby Graham, Wilma Mizell, Bonnie Merriman. Survived by his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Renae and Jeff Matthews; 3 treasured grandchildren, Brady, Brooke, and Bryce Matthews, all of Ooltewah, TN; brother, Jack (Delores) Renfro; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3736 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37804. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM Sunday March 17, 2019 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Greg Long officiating.
