October 25, 1954 — December 1, 2008

Larry Charles Bright age 54 of Louisville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 1, 2008 at the family home. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include: Wife, Linda Bright; Daughter & Son-in-law, Bridget & Quinn Muse; Son, Clifford Hammer all of Louisville; He had four grandchildren who were the light of his life and being, Brandon Coward, Savanna Hammer, Brighton & Ethan Muse; three step-grandchildren he held dear to his heart, Samantha, A.J., and Amber Muse; Parents, Dorothy & Verlin Bright of Vonore, TN; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Erma & Tony Burlesoon of Maryville and Susie & Ed Cole of Dandridge; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Leonard & Carolyn Lewis of TX, Arlie & Kelly Bright of Washington State, and Lennie & Debbie Bright of Maryville; special friends, Larry Brewster and Michael & Pearlie Cole. The family expresses their deep appreciation to the Covenant Hospice Staff and Nurses who attended to Larry's needs, especially to Pat, Larry's Nurse. She was a God send to the family and Larry during these moths. They also appreciate Dr William Bell for his experience and knowledge regarding Larry's treatment. They also thank all of the friends and acquaintance that visited and assisted the family in any way during this trying time. Words are not enough to express our deep appreciation to all of you. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Michael Dupes and Joseph Ferguson officiating. Interment will be at Louisville Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, TN with full military honors conducted by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, December 5, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
