Kenneth Wayne Yates age 70 of Maryville passed away Saturday January 10, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Thelma Crisp Yates, brother Charles Yates, uncles Willard, Lloyd and Estal Crisp, aunt Florance Boring, aunts and uncles Bob and Velma Yates, Uyless and Delica Yates, Otis and Sally Yates, Georgia and Homer Jones, Estie Jackson, Anna Fishburn. Survivors include sister Shelby Yates Abbott and husband Charles, very special life- long friends Bill Kerr and wife Sandy, daughter Kris Yates Boring and husband Doug, grandson Dylan Walker. Funeral service will be 7:30 pm Tuesday January 13, 2015 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Jerry Little officiating. Interment service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday January 14, 2015 at New Providence Baptist Church Six Mile.
