Kenneth Ousley Wright II

Kenneth Ousley Wright II, age 53 of Maryville passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. Ken was a lifelong resident of Maryville working with Keystone Kitchens and Blackberry Mountain. He was a member of Blount Community Church and served on the security team. Ken always had a heart for service to others. He rarely ever met a stranger and was mostly known for his giving nature and sense of humor. He enjoyed the outdoors, mowing and landscaping as well as talking over the CB Radio with the handle Maverick 250. Ken served as an assistant Scout Master with Boy Scouts of America Troop 800. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Sr. and Louise Wright; grandparents, Keith and Edith Wright and John and Lorene Gunter. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Hope Wright of Maryville; son, Luke Wright and fiancé, Hannah Robbins of Maryville; special godson, Dylan Smith of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Missy and Jimmy Millsaps of Maryville; special stepsister, Rhonda Harrill and husband, Keith; nieces and nephew, Roxanne and David Cooper of Townsend, Abby and Jimmy McKee of Maryville, and Nathan Millsaps and fiancé, Jessica Himmelberger of Maryville. A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 17, 2025 at Blount Community Church with Kenny Crook and Toby Downey officiating.
