Kenneth Ray Keller

Kenneth R. Keller (affectionately known as “Peachie�?) age 67 of Alcoa passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospice Center. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. Kenneth was in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years. He retired from ALCOA after 22 years of service as a Mill Scheduling Superintendent. He was a Range Safety Officer for Volunteer Rifle & Pistol Club and was involved with various youth programs including the boy scouts. He loved his family, hunting, and fishing. Kenneth was the 8th of nine children born to Bill & Alma Keller. Preceded in death by: Brothers, W.C. Keller, Clinton Keller, and E.L. Keller; Sister, Charlotte Doar. Survivors include: Wife of 42 years, Lonna Cooper Keller; Son & Daughter-in-law, Matthew & Amy Keller of Rockford; Granddaughter, Emma Keller of Rockford; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Bobby & Karen Keller of Allentown, PA and Don & Katie Keller, Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Jean & Sam Clifton and Jody & Billy Holley all of Montgomery, AL; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law, Tina & Bob McMurray of Rockford; Special friends, Bill & Norma Kennedy, Charley & Kaye Kennedy; Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 14, 2009 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
