Kenneth Grady Abbott

Kenneth G. Abbott age 69 of Maryville passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the family home. He retired from the City of Maryville Fire Department with 28 years of service. He served as Fire Chief from 1988 to 1994. Preceded in death by: Father, Harold Bruce Abbott; Mother, Ethel Sellers Abbott Mynatt; Step-Father, Kenneth Mynatt. Survivors include: Son, Kenny Abbott of Maryville; Daughter & Son-in-law, Debby & Tom Leonard of Maryville; Grandchildren, Mallory, Madeline & Bella Leonard; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Jane & Glenn Perkins of Maryville and Carol & Ron Combs of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends as a Celebration of His Life from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Smithview Pavilion & Event Center. Graveside service and interment will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Forest Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bryan Wheble officiating.
