Kathy Lynn Sparks Solomon

Kathy Lynn Sparks Solomon, age 55 of Maryville, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at home. Kathy was incredibly proud of her only daughter, Samantha. She loved her work and friends at Dollywood, and her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Solomon; her parents, Billy and Wanda Sparks; and her brother, Billy Wayne Sparks. Survivors include her daughter Samantha Solomon of Maryville; special niece, Kaylee Burks along with nieces and nephews Sarah Russell, Shanda Russell, Kris Sparks, Danny Sparks, Brad Sparks, Beth White, and Dakota McMahan; sisters and brother-in-law, Pamela Russell of Maryville, and Sheila and Mark McMahan of Walland. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in the Smith East Hall. Family and friends will assemble following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery for a celebration of Kathy’s life and interment service with Mark McMahan officiating.
