Kathy LaRaye Shaver Lawson passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at home. Preceded in death by: Parents, Alvin Shaver and Helen Smith; Brother, Duane Shaver; Sister, Karen Lloyd. Survivors include: The love of her life, Blair Cannon; Daughter, Jackie Brown & husband Brad; Son, Jody Johnson & wife Janelle; Granddaughters, Madison Effler, Cora Johnson, & Sarah Adkins; Sisters, Shelly Grubb and Lisa Higgins; many special nieces and nephews; Precious Kitty, Bootsie; many friends she held dear to her heart. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Smith East Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 15, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery.
