Kathleen Reese Kennedy

Kathleen Kennedy age 100 passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her home. She was a member of Niles Ferry Baptist Church, a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College and the University of Tennessee. She was a teacher in the Blount County School System for thirty years. Preceded in death by: Husband, Burney Ray Kennedy; Parents, Joe & Virgie McSpadden; Sister, Ruby McCulloch & husband Martin McCulloch. Survivors include: Sisters, Bernice Kyker and Mariola McSpadden of Greenback; Sister-in-law, Mary Kennedy Barnwell; Nephew, Bill Kyker and Betsy; Nieces, Sherry O’Neal & Jerry, Marti Wry & David; Great-Nephews, Bryan O’Neal & Noelle, Chad O’Neal & Meghan, Fane & Asher O’Neal, Quintin & Jake Kyker and Mitchell Neff. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 6:30 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Niles Ferry Baptist Church. Memorial service will be at 6:30 PM with Pastor Ben Styles officiating.
