Kathleen Ann Braun

Kathleen Ann Braun of Maryville, TN passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at home. She was of the Christian Faith. Katie was a very talented Artist who enjoyed working in the garden and shopping with friends. She was an avid supporter of Children's Hospital and the ASPCA. Although Katie was born in St. Louis, MO, she spent most of her life here in Tennessee growing up along side of six siblings. Katie was blessed to know 15 nieces and nephews and 16 grand nieces and nephews. Katie was privileged with many loving friends and neighbors, who stood by her during the long struggle she fought the last years of life. Katie gave her love and kindness to all who she knew, unrequitedly. She requests everyone celebrate her life and passing and "BE HAPPY." Preceded in death by: parents, Lawrence James Braun & Alice Barnes Braun of St. Louis, MO. Surviving siblings, brothers, Lawrence James Braun Jr. & wife Janice, David Anheuser Braun & wife Cindy; sisters, Linda Susan Braun Coakley & husband James, Cheryl Lee Braun Young & husband Jeff all of Maryville, TN; sister, Jacque Braun of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Jeanne Braun Whitehead & husband Ray of Seymour. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
