Katherine Louise Bell

Katherine L. Bell age 62 of Maryville passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Katherine was born in Louisville, KY in 1953 to the late Joe E. Pusey & Effie Massey Pusey. Survivors include: Husband of 42 years, Michael Bell; Daughter & Son-in-law, Alishia & Damien Kerr of Louisville; Special Friends, Jim & Nancy Bramble, Clark & Sharen Settles, Bill & Susie Murphy, Ashley & Shirley Blauvelt, Jim & Connie Campbell. Katherine was a master at the almost lost art of “The Home Cooked Meal.” She loved arts and crafts and was particularly adept at knitting, crocheting, and painting. Katherine was a loving wife, caring mother and a wonderful friend. Katherine took great joy with babies, children, and pets. She nurtured many young people into adulthood and to all she nurtured she was known as “MISS KATHY.” MISS KATHY leaves a large hole in our heart today as we lay her to eternal rest. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 PM, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Smith Chapel.
