Karl Zurmuehlen

Karl Frederick Zurmuehlen, born February 26, 1937 passed into Glory at Parkwest Hospital, Knoxville, TN. He was a member of Grace Community Church in Maryville, TN. Preceded in death by: parents, Fred & Mildred Zurmuehlen. Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Becky Zurmuehlen; Daughter, Kristen Lattimer (Mark); Son, Kevin Zurmuehlen (Kristen); Grandchildren, Aubrey Lattimer, Christopher Lattimer, Katy Zurmuehlen and Kyle Zurmuehlen. Karl started on his journey to Heaven and Home in April, 1950, when God opened his spiritual eyes. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who made it all possible for Karl to spend eternity in Glory by His sacrificial work on the Cross of Calvary. Among Karl's favorite verses in God Word, the Bible was Romans 8:37-39, "But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, not life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Homegoing Celebration Service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2014 at Grace Community Church at 161 E. Harper Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804 with Pastor Chris Riser officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at11:00 AM, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery, 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803.
