Judith Gail Ramsey, nee Wetmore, age 68, passed away suddenly at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. A native of Maryville, Ms. Ramsey was born on February 9, 1943, and was a member of Everett High School’s Class of 1962. Ms. Ramsey received a BS in Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and a MS in Psychology from University of South Alabama. She worked as a counseling program director in Destin, FL and recently as a social worker at Colonial Hills Nursing Home in Maryville before retiring in 2007. Ms. Ramsey is survived by her three children, Terri Kahrer of Hazlet, NJ; Suzanne Davenport of Colorado Springs, CO; and DeAnn Nevin of Tucson, AZ; and four grandchildren; LeeAnn Kahrer and Matt Kahrer, both of Hazlet, NJ, and Kevin Knowlan and Conor Davenport, both of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by her sisters, Norma “Corky�? Jennings of Maryville and Jacqueline Feezell of Cherokee, AL, as well as two nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Wetmore and Janey Wetmore, and nephew Scott Jennings, all of Maryville. The family will be receiving friends at Smith Trinity Chapel from 6:30 pm until 7:30 PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2011, with a memorial service immediately following. Ms. Ramsey’s ashes will be interred at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum at 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
