Juanita Ann Smith Howard

Juanita Ann Smith Howard age 79 of Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Asbury Healthcare Center. She grew up in East Maryville Baptist Church and was currently a member of Grandview Baptist Church. Juanita was an active member of Maryville First Baptist Church also. Working in her flower beds was her greatest joy. Juanita was very involved in the development and growth of her children and grandchildren by participating in the many activities in their childhood life. Preceded in death by: Husband, Henry Howard; Daughter, Becky Jones; Brother, Don Smith; Parents, Leonard & Ina Smith. Survivors include: Daughter, Henrietta "Ettie" Reece of Florida; Grandchildren, Erik Reece, Ray & wife Julie Reece and Bradley Reece all of Calhoun, GA, Christa & husband Robbie Naehr of Kansas City, MO, and Ann Jones of Calhoun, GA; Great-Grandchildren, Jessi Reece, Nolan Reece, and Braden Reece. Gathering of family and friends will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Smithview Pavilion at 601 Smithview Drive, Maryville. Memorial & committal services will be at 2:30 PM, Sunday at Smithview Pavilion with Rev. Ray Reece and Rev. Christa Naehr officiating. Reception for family and friends will follow the memorial service at Smithview Pavilion. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
