Juanita Tipton Myers

Juanita Tipton Myers, age 87, passed away October 6, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cades Cove, Tennessee in 1927 and was a member of the Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church in Townsend. Juanita was preceded in death by: Husband, Theodore Myers; Parents, Royal & Mayme McCaulley Tipton; Sisters, Jean Teffeteller, Thelma Monaco, Evelyn Freeman, and Helen King; Brothers, Arnold Tipton and Charles Tipton. Survivors include: Son, Glenn Myers & wife Carole Myers; Son, Gary Joe Myers; Grandchildren, Aaron Myers & Graham Myers; Great-Grandchildren, Lauren Myers, Grayson Myers, and Brayden Myers; Brother, J.T. Tipton; Special Niece, Dawn Buffington; Nephew, Colby LaRoche of Daytona Beach, FL. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of Blount Memorial Hospice for their love and exceptional care. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Reverend Kristie Banes officiating.
