Juanita Campbell Meiller, 93, of Alcoa, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Brookdale Clare Bridge, Maryville. Juanita loved The Lord and prayed for salvation for all, especially her family. She was a member of The Peoples’ Tabernacle/Grace Memorial Church for over 50 years and Alcoa First United Methodist Church where she was active in the women’s circle, prayer group, sang in a trio, was a Sunday School teacher, member of Red Hatters, and a volunteer for AFUMC fund raisers for Habitat for Humanity. She owned Juanita’s Beauty Shop in the Everett Hill area and loved her customers, keeping their hair cut, permed, and colored. She enjoyed entertaining and travelling with friends and family, visiting 49 states, Canada, Mexico, internationally, and enjoyed 17 cruises. Preceded in death by: Son, Eddie Meiller; Parents, Pleasant Campbell and Bess Sizemore Campbell Hodges; Stepfather, Hobart Hodges; Sisters, Evelyne Presley and Joyce Bogart. Juanita is survived by: Loving and Devoted Husband of 77 years, Floyd Meiller; Daughter, Sue Marston; Granddaughters, Melissa (Dennis) Belandres and Kristin Tapner; Great-Grandchildren, Ryan and Matt Van Winkle, Ben Belandres and Peyton Tapner; much loved Sister, Betty (Ed) Fayet; and one nephew, three nieces, and many special friends.
