Juanita A. Gunter age 68 of Rockford, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. She attended Village Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Robert Lee Yates; Daughter, Sandra L. Boring; parents, Alfred & Elsie Burger; Brother, Boyd Burger. Survivors include: Husband, Jack Gunter; Sons, Robert V. Yates & wife Kimberly of Rockford and Kenny Ray Yates of Maryville; Daughters, Lisa A. Kidd & husband Joe of Walland, Linda Watkins of Rockford, and Jerry Helton & husband Ben of Maryville; 10 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Alford Burger and Bill Burger; Sister, Iris Burger; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Jim (Tater) Wells officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Clark’s Grove Cemetery for the interment.
