Joyce J. Crowder age 82 of Maryville went home to reunite with her loved ones. Faithful member of New Providence Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Calvin Crowder; daughter, Mae; parents, Robert and Pauline Clark; brother, Clyde Clark; sister-in-law, Jane Clark. Survivors include daughter, Judy (Henry) Thompson; granddaughter, Jan (Ronnie) Bass; special great-grandson, Dale Bass; sisters, Nellie Clark and Helen Buchanan; brothers, Archie Clark, Curtis (Diane) Clark; brother-in-law, Clayton Crowder; sister-in-law, Ruth Eltrouty; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to New Providence Primitive Baptist Church or New Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2633 six mile Road, Maryville, TN 37803. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2019 in Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Boring and Tony Clark officiating.
