Johnny Parker

Johnny Ross Parker, age 61 of Maryville TN

passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024.

Johnny was a Maryville native who graduated from Heritage High School (Porter Panther at heart) and attended Hiwassee College.

Johnny was a longtime employee at Averitt Express but finished his career at Denso. He was a very quiet and reserved man but always calm, steady, and had a giving heart. He helped anyone in need and was a friend to all. Johnny was a great dad to his only child, Morgan, who is his pride and joy. He loved to fish, watch all sports, and was a Vol for Life! Johnny had many lifelong friends who were very close to his heart and greatly enjoyed their yearly "guys” trip.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Carolyn Black Parker and Jack Parker.

He is survived by his son Morgan Ross Parker; sisters Tammy Hembree and Lisa Parker; nephews Mychal Hembree and Erick Parker; niece Aimee Hembree; former spouse Kimberly Parker; and many other extended family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life and reception on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Smith's Life Event Center, 1410 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803.
