Helton, Johnnie S. age 82 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by: Parents, Mell & Leona Smith; Brother, William Smith; Sisters, Annie Green, Willie Mae Burris and Cleo Smith. Survivors include: Sons and Daughters-in-law, James Robert & Joyce Helton of Maryville, Earl Jr. and Joan Helton of Florida, Ben Curtis II & Sally Helton of Seymour, Michael Joe & Jan Helton of Kentucky, Richard & Vickie Helton of Friendsville, and Ronald Lee & Sharon Helton of Benton; Daughters, Wanda Faye Tipton and Anna Marie Curtis both of Friendsville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Raymond Clore officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
