John L. Wilson Sr, age 71 of Walland, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Foothills Transitional Care. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church where he played piano and was the organist. Preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Virgie Wilson. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Lorettie Wilson; son, John Wilson Jr.; daughter, Chrissy Wilson; grandchildren, James Wilson, Bethany Wilson, Ryan Wilson; half-brother, Bill Wilson; and other family members. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Prospect Baptist Church with the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry Pugh officiating.
