John William Scarbro III age 70 of Louisville passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the United States Marine Corp serving 4 years. He was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church and a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Preceded in death by: Parents, Leonard & Dorothy Scarbro; Sister, Pat Ingle. Survivors include: Wife of 47 years, Sandra Scarbro; Daughters & Son-in-law, Christie & Bobby Shaffer and Rebecca Scarbro; Grandchildren, William & Aaron Shaffer and Kilmer & Lela Headrick; Brothers & Sister-in-law, Leonard Scarbro and Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Samuel & Ginger Scarbro; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Zelda Shaffer. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, September 21, 2012 at Smith West Chapel with Rev.
