John Anthony Romano, Sr.

John Anthony Romano Sr., 77, made his transition on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Greenback, TN, following a long illness. His parents, John and Angelina Romano, preceded him in death. His wife, Barbara Romano of 37 years, survives him. A son, John Anthony Romano Jr. and wife Karen of Maryville, TN and his daughter, Janet Jackson and husband David of Maryville, TN, also survives him. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Born and raised in Cedarville, NJ he was a farmer on the family farm and also worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed building model airplanes and watching John Wayne movies. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor Laura Rasor officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
