John Wynn Pendleton, 79, peacefully entered the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 17, 2016. He spent his final days surrounded by his loving children at Asbury Place in Maryville, Tennessee. John faced the end of life with the confident assurance promised in John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” Preceded in death by: Wife, Imelda Ann Pendleton; Parents, James & Dixie Pendleton; Brother, Jack Pendleton; Sisters, Patsy Jarrell and Joy Cook. Survivors include: Sons, Jim Gossett and Mike Jordin; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Robin & Chad Hammond and Lisa & Curtis Cook; Grandchildren, Jonathan Royster, Will Hammond, Beau Hammond, Morgan Wisener, Justin Cook, Jarred (Candice) Cook, Julie (Andrew) Masterson, and Hayley Gossett; Great-Grandson, Archer Masterson; Beloved Dog, Eli.
