John O'Dell

John O'Dell, age 89 of Maryville passed away August 12, 2008 at Asbury Place of Maryville. He was retired from ALCOA with 30 years of service. He was also a full-time farmer in Blount and Scott County for several years. He was a member of RIO Central. Preceded in death by: 1st Wife, Bessie O'Dell; 2nd Wife, Marie Lawson O'Dell; Father, Coley O'Dell; Mother, Nellie Key O'Dell; Brother, Paul O'Dell; Sister, Mildred O'Dell. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Martha & Randall Conley; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Coley & Judy O'Dell and Tommy & Debbie O'Dell; Grandchildren, Eric (Linda) O'Dell, Stacy O'Dell, Libby (Daniel) French, Crystal Satterfield, Sarah Pierce and Andy O'Dell; Great-Grandchildren, Blake & Chloe O'Dell, Isaiah and Addison French, Sylas Satterfield, Brayden and T.J. Pierce; Brothers, James (Hazel) O'Dell and Frank (Virginia) O'Dell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2008 at RIO Central with Pastor Ronnie Hepperly, Rev. Larry Crouch, and Rev. Don Fife officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 15, 2008 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
