John Mullinax has gone to heaven on Monday, April 1, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Johnny was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, a retired Heavy Equipment Operator from Local 12 Las Vegas, NV, and a member of Victory Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: mother, Rosa Lee Mullinax; brother-in-law, Virgil Garrison; son-in-law of Hazel Parks and Jess Garrison. John was the beloved husband for 48 years of Wanda Mullinax; proud father to Michael (DeeLynn) Mullinax, Michelle Mullinax Shaffer; grandfather of Erica (Andy) Cochran, Amanda (Scott) Knutson, Ryan Mullinax, Noah Shaffer, Makenna Shaffer; big brother of David (Colleen) Mullinax, Marvin (Lois) Mullinax, Steve (Fran) Mullinax; brother-in-law to Don Garrison, Eldon (Cathy) Garrison, Norman (Karen) Garrison, Wes (Barbara) Parks, Steve Parks; Sisters-in-law, Marilyn Garrison, Elisabeth Garrison; very special friends adopted into our family, Shirley Wood, Bill Neff, Nancy Trumbly, Matthew Trumbly, Christopher Trumbly; beloved aunts and uncles, Jean (Al) Bowers, Dot (Dick) Williams, Jerry (Joyce) Farley. He will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Victory Baptist Church in Maryville with Rev. Steve Craft officiating.
