John Hobart McKinley

McKinley, John H. age 76, went to be with His Lord, Jesus Christ on December 20, 2018. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. John was a Navy Veteran. He was a member of Muskie Inc., an avid Muskie fisherman and was on the Board of Muskie Inc. Preceded in death by his parents, Regina (Lacy) and John Hobart McKinley. Survived by wife of 57 years, Hollis Ann (Jenkins) of Maryville. Son and daughter-in-law, John and Tracy; granddaughter, Zoe; grandsons, Zach and Zarik all from Knoxville; sisters-in-law, Nancy Menefee and family of West Virginia, Debra Blare and family of Texas; brother-in-law, Tim Jenkins and family of West Virginia; Dottie Upperman and family of West Virginia; also many close friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at East TN Veteran’s Cemetery.
