John Arley (J.A.) LaFollette Sr., age 74 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. J.A. was a member of the Everett High School graduating class of 1960. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, farming, being outdoors, driving the Cades Cove Loop to look for wildlife, and gospel music, often traveling to hear his favorite groups. Preceded in death by: Wife, Myra Ousley LaFollette; Son, John Arley LaFollette Jr.; Parents, Shelton & Blanche LaFollette; Brother-in-law, Ray Bell. Survived by: Daughter & Son-in-law, Kristi & Lloyd Oslonian; Grandchildren, Jacob, Kelsey, Nick Oslonian, Whitney Oslonian Wilson & husband Tyler; Great-Granddaughter, Tatum Claire Oslonian; Sister, Jane Bell; Nieces and Nephews, Karen Bell Gross & husband Tony, Larry Bell & wife Dana; Aunt, Louise Valentine; Uncle, Troy Noe; Special Cousin and Family, Marty Fawver & wife Vickie, Leslie Miley & husband, Victoria Fawver; known as “Big Papaw” to Ryder Miley; Sisters-in-law, Delight Jobe, Yvonne Ingraham, and Bobbie Hatcher; Brothers-in-law, Ed Ingraham and Buck Hatcher; Lifelong Friend, Howard Kerr.
