John Franklin Frank Smith

John Franklin "Frank" Smith, age 76 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 peacefully at home. Frank was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and operated the Concessions at the Knoxville News Sentinel for 39 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Carter Smith; brothers, David and Herman Smith; sisters, Kay Eschler and Geraldine Miller. Survivors include his wife, Orvie Smith; son and daughter-in-law, John Franklin Smith II and wife Jo of Christiana, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Steven Ingold of Louisville; 10 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Arnold Eschler of Phoenix, AZ. A Celebration of Frank's Life will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 2012 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel for the Entombment Service.
