John Henry Christopher, age 51 of Maryville, passed away August 8, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. John was born in Maryville and lived all his life in Blount County, TN. Preceded in death by: Mother, Myrtle Young Christopher; Uncles, Robert C. Young and Franklin Young. Survivors include: Brother & Sister-in-law, Jim & Deb Christopher of Plymouth, MN; Sister & Brother-in-law, Kristine & David Lau of Plainfield, IL; Nieces, Rachael Lau, Rebecca Lau, and Sarah Lau all of Plainfield, IL; numerous cousins that live in the area. The family would like to thank Dr. Dabbagh and the staff of Blount Memorial Hospital for the care and support of John. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 12, 2011 at Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
