Joe D. Mitchell age 88 of Maryville passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Fairpark Healthcare Center. He was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and a brick mason for 43 years. Preceded in death by: Parents, Fred & Ada Mitchell; Brother, Audley Mitchell. Survivors include: Wife of 69 years, Ruth Luther Mitchell; Son, Rick Mitchell; Daughter & Son-in-law, Rhonda & Hugh E. DeLozier Jr.; Grandchildren, Mandy & husband D.J. Spears, Ashlyn & husband Corey Friend, and Alex Mitchell; Great-Grandchild, Adley Spears; Sister, Jane Couch. The family would like to thank Atria Weston Place and Fairpark Healthcare for their great care. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Grandview Cemetery.
