Joann Margaret Shuler

Joann Shuler age 70 of Townsend, died Monday, March 30, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade & Bessie Effler; grandparents, Jerry & Della Effler, George & Jane Stephenson; brothers-in-law, Ralph, Dillard and Doyle Shuler; sister-in-law, Lavan Garner. Survivors include her husband, Vance Shuler; brothers & sisters-in-law, Milton & Betty Effler of Knoxville, R. Leon & Julia Effler of Rockford, Mayford S. & Ruby Effler of Townsend, Lynne & Susan Effler of Louisville; sisters-in-law, Delynn & Cecil Caylor and Barbara Shuler; a host of nieces & nephews; special friends, Lois Eslinger, Kelli, Lauren & Madison. Funeral service 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2009, Smith West Chapel with Rev. Jack Wear and Rev. Wayne Black officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 11:00 am Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery for the interment.
