Early into her marriage; alongside my Father, she helped to create Holder Optical in Midland Shopping Center. She was active in the Jaycees and many local charitable organizations such as Toys for Tots, Holiday Meal Programs and active with the Maryville Chamber of Commerce. She told me one time traveling along the back roads of Pa, that she never saw someone love music as much as I do. She enjoyed History throughout her lifetime and one of her favorite All-American Heroes was the man that broke the Sound Barrier. Chuck Yeager. She admired him greatly. Found him fascinating. In addition to her decorators touch and her floral arrangements, She loved hiking her Father’s Home Place in the Smokies, family picnics in the park and absolutely loved spending time with her family. Everyone has been saying how easy, comforting she was to talk to. Easy ear. She was a friend to everyone.
