Joan M. Queen, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at her home. Joan was a stay-at-home mom of 4 kids. She loved traveling and enjoyed trips to Aruba, Panama Canal, and Curacao Cruise. She was a cruise fanatic who loved meeting new people and hearing about where they were from. Loving mother to her cats and pets and loved walking them in the park. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold Bryan and Corinne LeBlanc; sister, Irene Macha; brother, Harold Bryan. Survived by sons, Harold V. Queen of Blount County, Darrell Queen of Blount County; daughters, Sharon Queen of Maryville, Corrine Queen of Nashville; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; brothers, Bobby Bryan of New York, Cecil Bryan of Maine; sister, Doris of Las Vegas; special friends, Cecilia and Marcia. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment Friday, December 8, 2023 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
