Jimmy Wayne Cash age 66 of Maryville passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 from a plane crash. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. after 34 years of service and was a member of their 25-Year Club. He graduated from Bearden High School in 1960 and was a former member of the Sky Ranch Club. Jimmy was a great man, husband, and father who lived life to the fullest. Preceded in death by: Mother, Edna Farmer. Survivors include, Wife of 28 years, Margaret Cash; Daughter, Dinah Burke of Knoxville; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Jill & Jeremy Joyce of Knoxville and Kelly & Richard Keen of Knoxville; Stepson, William Jenkins of Greeneville; Stepdaughter, Christy & Gary Bohannan of Maryville; Grandchildren, Rachel Nicole Cannon, Charlee Joyce, Christopher Jenkins; Father, Carl Farmer of Halls; Brothers, David Farmer and Johnny Farmer; Sister, Susie Farmer. Jimmy was an avid fisherman, outsdoorman, and adventurer. He loved to fly, travel, and share his life with others. The sound of his laughter will NEVER be forgotten. Jimmy was the “Best Dad�? in the world. He will be missed by a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Reagan officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 25, 2009 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
