Jimmie L. Dodd

Jimmie L. Dodd age 85, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022. Jimmie graduated Greenback High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force as a radar operator. He retired from ALCOA after 30 years, mostly in the Electrical Department. He was a member of Peck’s Memorial United Methodist Church for 60 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, hiking and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his father, Oscar Dodd; mother and step-father, Margaret and Walden Alexander; brother, Harold Dodd; sister, Frances (Roger) Kizer; step brothers, Charles (Dolly) Alexander, Earl Alexander; brothers-in-law, Bob Headrick, R.D. Carver, Jack Keyees, Buddy Keyees, Charles (Doris) Keyees, sister-in-law, Barbara (Sam) Jackson. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty (Keyees) Dodd; daughter, Cindy Dodd; son, Jim (Sonya) Dodd; granddaughter, Morgan Dodd; brother, Ronald (Libby) Alexander; sisters, Judy Headrick, Dorcie Carver; sisters-in-law, Ann (Jack) Niles, Violet Keyees; numerous nieces and nephews.
