Jim Cox, age 87, of Maryville passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ellen Cox; parents, Eli and Clementine Cox; sister, Pat Carr; brothers, Estol, Chuck, Dan and Harvey Cox. He is survived by brothers, Bob and Richard Cox; sister, Mary Deavours; children, Ann Hicks, Rachel Tramutolo, Steven Cox, Jenny Williams, Jimmy Cox and 14 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Smith’s Trinity Chapel with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM. Family and friends will proceed to Grandview Cemetery, 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803 for an interment service to be held at 3:00 PM.
