Jessie Mae Pettitt

Pettitt, Jessie Mae age 91 of Louisville passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Fairpark Healthcare Center after a lingering illness. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and the former owner / operator of Town and Country Child Development Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed H. Pettitt; son, Jimmy Pettitt; son-in-law, Hobart Williams; parents, Ben and Leola Derreberry; sisters, Lela Douglass and Mildred Isbell; and brother, Woodrow Derreberry. Survivors include: son, Leon Pettitt and wife Joan of Plano, TX; son, John Pettitt of Maryville, TN; daughter Phyllis Williams of Walland, TN; grandchildren, Julie Millett, Laurie Gough, Doug Pettitt, Marcy Pettitt (Wilmot), Laurel Fleming, Jeff Williams and Jimbo Williams; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and brother, J.B. Derreberry of Knoxville. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 28, 2007 in Smith's Trinity Chapel with the Rev. Gary Davidson officiating.
