Jessee Lawrence Finchum

Jessee Lawrence Finchum, 83, passed away on the morning of November 27, 2017. A veteran of the United States Army (1955-57), he was retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Lawrence was an avid woodworker, beekeeper, horse trainer and storyteller. He was preceded in death by: Wife, June Scott Finchum; Son, David Lawrence Finchum; Son-in-law, Cephus H. Stinnett. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Sam & Angie Wood; Daughter, Jama Stinnett; Grandchildren, Jennifer and Josh Johnson; Samuel & Meredith Wood, Jessee and Kari Stinnett and Elizabeth Finchum; Great-Grandchildren, Mason Johnson and Avery Stinnett; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Greg Price officiating.
