Jerry Lynn Spurling

Jerry L. Spurling age 74 of Friendsville, met his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 27, 2015. Jerry was the Business Manager at Baptist Hospital for 25 years, was employed at Fort Sanders Regional and Fort Loudoun Hospital, and worked at Livingston Health Care when he retired. He was a past member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and Dotson Memorial Baptist Church and was currently a member of Friendsville First Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, John & Lily Spurling; Sister, Vella Spurling. Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Sylvia England Spurling; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Jeff & Susan Spurling, Greg & Donna Spurling, Kevin & LeAnn Spurling, Steve & Anna Spurling, and Wesley & Melanie Spurling; Grandchildren, Jordan & Wife Sarah Spurling, Alexa Spurling, Nathan Spurling, Corey Spurling, Kerrigan Spurling, Amos Spurling, Canaan Spurling, Tyler Spurling, Katie McCarter, Caroline McCarter, and Michael McCarter; Brother, Craig Spurling; Sister, Janice Parker. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Monday, November 30, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Bill Gowder officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Kingston Pike, Knoxville with Jeff Spurling, Greg Spurling, Steve Spurling, Wesley Spurling, Gordon Spurling, and Corey Spurling serving as pallbearers.
