Jennie Abbott

Abbott, Jennie Bradshaw age 84 of Townsend passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She began her career in the Blount County Elementary School System but chose to raise her family as her career. Preceded in death by: Husband, Perry D. Abbott; Son, Jerry Joe Abbott; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: Sons, Perry E. Abbott of Longmont, CO and Stephan L. Abbott of Monroeville, PA; Daughter and Son-in-law, Elaine & Bill Kistler of Russellville, AR; Daughter-in-law, Carla Abbott of Longmont, CO; Grandchildren, Jamila Abbott, Nicole Abbott, Rebecca K. Bramlett, Carolyn Kistler; Brothers, C.H. Bradshaw of Pensacola, FL and Dale Bradshaw of Gatlinburg, TN; Sisters, Georgie Bradshaw of Townsend and Dawn Byrd of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Steve Lingenfelter and Rev. Darren Wiggington officiating.
