Jeanette (Jean) Barker

Jeanette (Jean) Barker age 90 of Maryville passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Liberty Assisted Living. She was known as “Little Jean”, the first female sewing machine mechanic at Levi Strauss. She also worked as a Retirement Coordinator at Levi’s. Jean was known by many from the deli @ Bi-Lo. She attended Maryville College. Preceded in death by: Husband, Jack Barker of 49 years; Son, John Barker. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Jacquelyn & Peter Neulist and Mary Barker & Charles DeLozier; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Special thanks to the staff at Liberty Assisted Living for the care given to her.
