Jeanette Lorena (Copeland) Baker entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, August 1st, 2014. Jeanette was born in Maryville, TN where she lived most of her life. She moved to Orange, VA in 2011 to be with her daughter, Kay Goble. She now returns to her beloved home to await the coming of the Lord. She was the oldest of ten children of Jewel and Nellie Copeland. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years C. L. Baker, brothers Junior, Arnold, Norman, and Max, and sister; Marion Baxter. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Goble (wife of Rev. Richard Goble) of Orange, VA, sisters Margaret Cooper of Apex, NC, Carolyn Lang and Frances Yarnell of Maryville, TN, and Patsy Hembree of Walland, TN, grandsons Daniel Goble (wife Shelbi) of Hixson, TN, and Steven Goble (wife Michelle) of Ringgold, GA, and great grandchildren Madison, Makenzy, and Joseph Goble. The family will receive friends in the Smith Chapel on Friday, August 9, 2014 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidz Praze!
